Event Information:
Welcome to the Annual CCBA Golf Classic, which we hold each year prior to our Fall Educational Institute. Please enjoy the afternoon. Immediately following the tournament will be the “Judges’ Challenge” and complimentary appetizers and beverages.
This tournament is set up for all players to have a good time. Please try to finish your round in 4 hours and 15 minutes. You should meet the target, by staying up with the group in front of you. You may “skip” shots, to maintain a normal pace of play. The USGA Rules of Golf govern all play, as modified by the following rules. The Tournament Committee will resolve any questions.
FORMAT: 4-person Team Scramble. Lowest team score wins. Teams will be handicapped based on their foursome. Three player teams will use one extra shot by each player on an alternating basis. Ties will be broken by comparing scores on the back nine, final six holes, final three holes, and then hole-by-hole, starting with the Number 1 handicap hole.
ORDER OF PLAY: Each player hits a tee shot. The team picks the best shot, as the place from which the next shots will be hit. All other players pick up their balls and proceed to that spot. Subsequent shots are dropped or placed and hit from within one club length of the previous shot (if off the green) or one club-head length (if putting), but no nearer to the hole. C
